Very cool ride. Rode through the "old" tunnel and over the Africatown bridge. I did 12.5 miles on my mountain bike, and Ray did 25 miles which took him across the causeway (with about a 15 knot headwind). We headed over to NOLA for our anniversary afterwards. We went to the VooDoo Festival, ate pizza, and drank beer on Bourbon Street. We waited in the lobby for the hotel's evening snack of PB&J and hot chocolate. Back in our room we ate the top of our wedding cake and drank champagne. I think we were out by 10 pm. Early morning bike rides do not make us late night party animals very often.
