Daddy's hat
Ward is now walking and running wide open. He loves to give kisses by coming up to your face and saying "MMMMMM" then planting one on you. He also says "Thank you" or better "dank you". This phrase is most often used when you have something he wants (most often a cell phone or remote control) and he reaches for it and say "thank you" as if those words require an automatic forfeiture of the item to his tiny little outstretched hands. He also says "no-no". This is used when he sneaks off into another room and I hear him saying "no-no". This is a clue to me that he is handling something that I have told him not to handled by saying "no-no" to him. Most often this is a waste basket in the bathroom. On any given day you walk in our home, you will find the wastebaskets moved to the tops of counters or bar stools, out of his reach. But the kid is tall. He can reach lots of things that other kids his age can't. And he is especially adept at making his reach longer with a tool. This tool can be wooden spoon. He has been doing this since he was 6-7 months old, and continues to do. While in his walker one day, he took an empty paper towel roll and began to "Sweep" the tops of all kitchen counter tops for things he could not see but suspected wast there. Ward also says "woof-woof" by making a perfectly round shape with his mouth whenever he sees a dog. Or a cat. Or a bird. It is most cute.
